Job summary

ACCIONA Energía is recruiting for a Queensland-based Civil Engineer who will support the Senior Project Engineer and Construction Manager to deliver safe, high-quality outcomes within budget. You will manage planning, surveying, procurement and quality control with minimal supervision and contribute to tenders and bids.

The role offers broad project exposure, ownership of methods and access to digital planning tools, with a clear view of how projects are won and delivered in a leading

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or similar required.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Experience in piling environment highly desirable.
• Experience as a project-based engineer in ground engineering, rail and/or civil infrastructure.
• Must be able to undertake a pre-employment medical and National Crime Check.

Responsibilities

• Develop a logical work breakdown structure for the scope of work to plan and monitor activities.
• Analyse the project schedule to identify the critical path, float and sequence, and manage procurement and site constraints.
• Develop construction methods and engineering plans from approved designs.
• Use digital models to plan and coordinate site activities.
• Prepare clear project proposals with accurate cost and resource estimates.
• Coordinate and control engineering works through inspection, scheduling and surveying.
• Report progress, costs and risks accurately.
• Monitor quality, safety and environmental requirements against ACCIONA standards.
• Identify and evaluate project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Contribute to team or unit initiatives to resolve issues.
