Job summary

Terranovus Civil is seeking confident Plant Operators for current civil construction projects in Atherton, Australia. You will prepare and position plant, operate controls to excavate and load materials, and perform daily inspections with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Set out with GPS and coordinate with teammates to ensure the program is closely followed. Take ownership of your work and deliver high-quality results across varied project types.

Qualifications

• Experience operating plant on civil construction sites
• Ability to perform daily inspections and minor maintenance
• Familiar with GPS set-out software and surveying basics
• Commitment to safety and following site procedures

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position plant for operations, select, fit and remove attachments
• Operate controls to excavate, level, move and load materials
• Conduct daily inspections and minor maintenance tasks
• Set out and work with GPS software to ensure accuracy on site
• Operate in a safe manner to protect others and keep machines in good working order
• Collaborate with team to ensure the program is followed and deliveries meet quality standards
• Take ownership of your work and deliver high-quality results
