Job summary

Western Downs Regional Council invites applications for a Plant Operator to undertake maintenance and construction duties using the Council's plant fleet. The role covers a range of tasks including operating civil construction equipment and ensuring tasks are completed to a high standard within set time frames.

Candidates should have knowledge of Civil Construction and maintenance works, a current C Class Driver's Licence, and ideally an HR or HC licence, WHS Construction Induction, White Card,

Qualifications

• Knowledge and experience in Civil Construction and maintenance works.
• Demonstrated safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Operate civil construction and maintenance plant and equipment to a high standard.
• Communicate effectively to ensure understanding and safe operation of equipment.
• Complete allocated tasks within agreed time frames.
• Adhere to safe work practices to minimise risks.
