Workfast is seeking experienced Pipe Layers for ongoing civil infrastructure projects across Brisbane. We offer a flat rate of $55 per hour plus penalties, with daily travel and meal allowances. Qualifications

• 12 months' experience in civil construction and pipe laying.
• Experience in pipe installation (stormwater, sewer, water mains).
• Current White Card (Construction Induction).
• Relevant tickets (Confined Space, Trenching, or plant tickets) are highly regarded.
• Strong safety focus and physically fit for manual labour.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, install, align, and seal civil pipes and drainage systems.
• Execute trench preparation, bedding, backfilling, and compaction.
• Set up and work with pipe lasers to ensure accurate grades and alignments.
• Operate a variety of hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area, ensuring materials and equipment are organized.
• Follow all site safety, environmental, and operational procedures.
