Job summary

The State Solicitors Office in Perth is seeking a senior solicitor to provide strategic industrial relations advice, advocacy and representation across government matters, engaging with senior stakeholders.

You will advise on a broad range of employment and industrial relations issues and present matters before the WA Industrial Relations Commission and other courts and tribunals, including complex disputes. Experience before courts, timely and strategic guidance on employment law is essential.

Qualifications

• A thorough understanding of employment law and management of industrial relations.
• Experience as a legal representative before courts and tribunals.
• Timely, strategic and legal advice in respect of employment law and managing industrial relations.
