BLC Queensland Pty Ltd is seeking experienced Civil and Landscape Labourers to join our growing construction team across South East Queensland. You will contribute to earthworks, drainage, concreting and diverse landscape works on commercial projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in civil construction or landscape construction.
• Construction Induction White Card (White Card).
• Current driver's licence and reliable transport.
• Physically fit for outdoor manual work.
• Solid understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work within a team.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently when required.
• Full Australian working rights.

Responsabilités

• Assist civil and landscape construction works including site prep, earthworks, drainage, concreting and general landscaping.
• Undertake planting, mulching, turfing, edging and related landscape activities.
• Operate hand tools, power tools and small plant safely.
• Assist machine operators, tradespeople and supervisors with daily tasks.
• Read and follow basic construction plans, site instructions and specs.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe work environment.
• Comply with WHS, SWMS and site procedures.
• Work collaboratively with the team to meet deadlines and quality standards.

About the Role

BLC Queensland is seeking experienced, reliable and motivated Civil / Landscape Labourers to join our growing construction team across South East Queensland.

With a strong pipeline of commercial landscaping, civil infrastructure and land development projects, we are looking for individuals who take pride in their workmanship, work well within a team and are committed to delivering quality outcomes.

You will be involved in a diverse range of construction activities, including earthworks, drainage, concreting, streetscapes, parklands, playgrounds and landscape construction.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with civil and landscape construction works, including site preparation, earthworks, drainage, concreting and general landscaping.

• Undertake planting, mulching, turfing, edging and associated landscape construction activities.

• Assist machine operators, tradespeople and supervisors with daily construction activities.

About You

Essential Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years' experience in civil construction, commercial landscaping or a similar construction environment.

• Construction Induction White Card.

• Current driver's licence and reliable transport.

• Physically fit and capable of undertaking manual work in outdoor conditions.

• Sound understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.

• Reliable, punctual and able to work effectively within a team.

• Ability to follow instructions, work independently when required and demonstrate initiative.

• Full Australian working rights.

Highly Regarded:

• Experience working on land development, council, government or infrastructure projects.

• Excavator, skid steer, roller or other relevant plant operator tickets.

• Experience in drainage, concreting, kerbing, retaining walls or hardscape construction.

• Experience operating small machinery and construction equipment.

• HR or MR truck licence.

• Ability to interpret basic construction drawings and set-out information.
