Job summary

Protech seeks reliable Civil Labourers for multiple roles across the Sydney Metro area. Duties include spotting machinery, assisting plant operators and supervisors, and installing fencing, signage, flagging and environmental controls.

Daily tasks also involve site housekeeping and safety compliance. Applicants should have at least 6 months civil industry experience, valid White Card, a current driver’s licence with reliable transport, and tickets (RII/VOC) as required for operator roles.

Job description

Protech are currently seeking Civil Labourers for multiple roles across Sydney Metro!

ABOUT THE ROLE:

• Monday to Friday + Saturday (as required)
• $$ + Overtime + Allowances + Super
• Both Ongoing and Adhoc Work Available

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Civil labouring duties may include:

• Spotting machinery and ensuring safe work around services
• Assisting plant operators and site supervisors
• Installation of fencing, signage, flagging and environmental controls
• General site clean-up and housekeeping

Desireable Tickets:

• Electrical (Overhead Powerlines) Spotter Ticket
• Plant Safety Observer/Spotter Ticket
• Work At Heights Ticket
• Confined Space enter and rescue Ticket (Refreshed in the last 2 years)
• Elevated Work Platform
• Roller Operator
• Telehandler / Manitou
• Watercart Operation
• Excavator Operator Detail, GPS and/or Final Trim

TICKETS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Australian Working Rights
• Valid White Card (Construction Induction)
• Current Driver's Licence and reliable transport
• Minimum 6-months experience in civil industry
• Strong work ethic, reliable with a positive attitude
• Able to follow instructions and work independently when required
• RII and/or VOC Tickets (essential for operator roles)
