Zusammenfassung

The Hills Shire Council, Baulkham Hills NSW, is seeking a full-time, hands-on Labour/Maintenance worker to help keep our community’s roads, drainage and civil infrastructure in good repair. You’ll perform planned and reactive maintenance, drive trucks and operate a range of plant equipment, and support teams with practical labour.

Required NSW Driver’s Licence (HR/HC) and White Card. We offer a 9‑day fortnight, wellbeing leave, training opportunities and bonus payments as part of our Enterprise

Qualifikationen

• NSW Drivers Licence (Class HR or HC) required.
• White Card – General Construction Induction Licence required.

Aufgaben

• Carrying out tasks associated with the maintenance of Council’s Civil Infrastructure including road and drainage maintenance, unsealed roads and table drains, removal of spoil and other materials, cleaning and upgrade of drainage structures, weed spraying and other civil related maintenance duties.
• Completing planned and reactive maintenance tasks on time and to a high standard.
• Driving a truck and/or trailer combination and operate plant and equipment (including tractors, rollers, front end loader/skid steer, backhoe and water cart) including daily maintenance checks and reporting of issues.
• Carrying out manual labour to support teams.
• Removing and disposing of general litter and hazardous objects.
