Job summary

BMD is seeking a capable, hands-on Surveyor to join our project delivery team in Sydney. You will provide responsive surveying support across major infrastructure projects, working with engineers, site supervisors and senior survey personnel to complete set-out and produce reliable records for safe delivery.

Responsibilities include construction set-out, as-built reporting, maintaining survey control and QA verification.

Qualifications

Construction surveying experience, ideally within civil infrastructure.
Proficiency with Topcon, Leica or Trimble equipment.
Working knowledge of 12d Model and 12d Synergy.
Practical experience in set-out, as-builts and survey computations.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage site priorities.
Clear communication skills and a reliable, safety-focused approach.

Responsibilities

Complete construction set-out, survey computations and field measurements.
Prepare accurate as-built information and construction lot reports.
Maintain survey control, data and project records.
Check design geometry and promptly raise discrepancies or field issues.
Support QA verification and compliance with project survey requirements.
Coordinate daily survey needs with engineering, supervision and construction teams.
