Job summary

Chandler Macleod Group is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer in Colac, VIC. The role supports infrastructure planning, development and delivery for local government projects with a strong emphasis on drainage, traffic management and approvals.

The ideal candidate will have a Civil Engineering degree, local government experience and CAD proficiency, plus a driver’s license. A full-time contract with an hourly rate is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering practices essential.
• Experience in local government or civil/infrastructure environments preferred.
• Proven CAD and technical drawing skills.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to planning, budgeting and strategic development of infrastructure projects.
• Provide engineering advice on drainage, traffic management and development approvals.
• Review permits and approvals for works affecting Council assets.
• Coordinate LPOD, vehicle crossing and road opening permits.
• Review NHVR applications and prepare traffic management plans.
• Develop and maintain CAD drawings for Council projects.
