Job summary
Talent Focus is seeking an experienced Excavator Operator to join our civil construction teams across Melbourne's North and West. You will operate excavators safely, carry out bulk earthworks and trenching, and read plans to exact levels with minimal supervision.
The ideal candidate has a minimum of 3 years' excavator experience, civil construction background, and holds a Construction Industry White Card and relevant tickets. GPS experience with Trimble or Topcon is advantageous.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years' experience operating excavators.
- Civil construction experience is essential.
- Experience reading plans and working to levels.
- Experience with 20T+ excavators is advantageous.
- GPS experience with Trimble or Topcon is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Operate excavators safely and efficiently across civil sites.
- Carry out bulk earthworks, site cuts, and excavation.
- Complete detailed excavation and final trim work as required.
- Undertake trenching for drainage, sewer and services.
- Load trucks and assist with earthmoving activities.
- Read and work from plans, levels and site instructions.
