Job summary

Sher-E-Panjaab Pty Ltd in Victoria is seeking a Civil Engineering Technician to join our team. You will assist civil engineers and project managers with planning, design and delivery of civil construction projects, and help prepare engineering drawings using CAD software.

Responsibilities include site inspections, measurements, material specifications, and contributing to project documentation and progress reports.

Qualifications

• Must have a relevant civil engineering qualification.
• 1–2 years of civil construction or engineering project experience is desirable.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical plans.

Responsibilities

• Assist civil engineers and project managers with the planning, design and delivery of civil construction projects.
• Prepare and modify engineering drawings, plans and technical documentation using CAD software.
• Conduct site inspections and collect measurements, levels and other relevant technical information.
• Assist with surveying, site set-out and monitoring of construction works.
• Prepare quantities, material specifications and project documentation.
• Monitor construction activities to ensure works are undertaken in accordance with approved plans, specifications and relevant standards.
• Assist with preparing progress reports, site records and project documentation.
