Hatch in Perth seeks an experienced Civil Engineer to join our Project Delivery Group, delivering transport infrastructure across road and rail. You will contribute to design, calculations, and reviews within multidisciplinary teams.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and 4–8 years of delivery experience, with proficiency in OpenRoads, 12d, Civil 3D and related tools; strong safety, communication, and teamwork skills are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required.
4–8 years delivering civil infrastructure projects (road/rail, energy or mining).
Experience with OpenRoads, 12d Model, Civil 3D, DRAINS, CivilStorm, CulvertMaster; familiar with road authority standards.

Responsibilities

Undertake civil engineering design activities for transport infrastructure projects.
Prepare engineering calculations, technical specifications, datasheets, and design reports.
Develop material take‑offs and bills of quantities.
Participate in and contribute to internal and external design reviews.
Review and check engineering drawings, working closely with civil designers and drafters to ensure standards are met.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support project delivery and client outcomes.
Ensure compliance with relevant authority, statutory, and regulatory requirements.
Commit to quality assurance, safety, and the reliable delivery of projects.
