Stantec is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join the Victorian Buildings Team in Melbourne. You'll design civil aspects for building projects across sectors such as data centres, health, education, and commercial residential buildings.

Responsibilities include producing drawings, calculations, and reports, coordinating with architects and other disciplines, and supporting proposals and site activities. Flexible work arrangements and strong development opportunities are offered.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 1–4 years of experience in civil design for building projects within an engineering consultancy environment.
• Experience in drainage design as well as general civil including roads, earthworks and pavements.
• Skills in design software such as Civil 3D, DRAINS, Music and AutoCAD.
• Sound knowledge of relevant Australian Standards.
• Strong knowledge of site development, stormwater management, and civil systems integration for buildings.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across disciplines.
• A proactive mindset with strong problem-solving and organizational skills.

About the role

Are you an experienced Civil Engineer ready for the next step in your career? With a strong pipeline of project work, we’re looking for a motivated engineer to join our Victorian Buildings Team in Melbourne.

Day to day tasks would involve:

• Perform civil engineering design for building projects across various sectors, including preparing drawings, calculations, reports, and design criteria using CAD and civil design software.

To be successful for this role you'll need:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.

• Ideally have 1–4 years of experience in civil design for building projects within an engineering consultancy environment. Projects within the Education, Health and Defence sectors would be advantageous however not compulsory

• Experience in drainage design as well as general civil including roads, earthworks and pavements is highly regarded

• Skills in design software such as Civil 3D, DRAINS, Music and AutoCAD is highly regarded

• Sound knowledge of relevant Australian Standards

• Strong knowledge of site development, stormwater management, and civil systems integration for buildings.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across disciplines.

• A proactive mindset with strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
