Hullcon is seeking an experienced Civil Draftsperson for our Abbotsford office to deliver high-quality civil drawings and manage the ProjectWise system. The role focuses on collaboration with engineers, designers and project managers to support major infrastructure and renewables projects across Australia.

The candidate will produce drawings, coordinate across teams, and contribute to AI-enabled drafting workflows while expanding skills into structural drafting as needed.

Qualificações

• Experience drafting civil infrastructure projects in Victoria.
• Strong attention to detail and drawing presentation.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a project team.
• Knowledge of drafting standards and ISO quality environments.

Responsabilidades

• Produce civil and structural drawings using Bentley MicroStation.
• Manage project documentation and workflows in ProjectWise.

This is an office-based role in our Abbotsford office, designed to maximise collaboration with our engineers, designers and project managers.

The Role

You will be responsible for the preparation, management and coordination of high-quality engineering drawings and models for civil infrastructure projects. You will also be responsible for administering our ProjectWise system.

Working alongside experienced engineers and design managers, you'll play a key role in delivering documentation across a diverse portfolio that includes:

• Roads and highways
• Civil infrastructure
• Renewable energy projects
• Drainage and earthworks
• Buildings and associated civil works
• Temporary and permanent works

You will also have the opportunity to broaden your skillset into structural drafting and help drive the adoption of AI-enabled drafting workflows and automation tools.

What You'll Be Doing

• Producing civil and structural engineering drawings using Bentley MicroStation
• Managing project documentation and workflows in ProjectWise
• Coordinating drawing production across multidisciplinary teams
• Assisting with document control and drawing management
• Leading CAD standards, drafting efficiency and quality processes
• Exploring and implementing AI tools to improve drafting productivity, consistency and quality
• Structural drafting where required

About You

We're looking for someone who has:

Essential

• Strong experience using Bentley MicroStation and/or OpenRoads Designer
• Strong experience using and managing ProjectWise
• Experience drafting civil infrastructure projects in Victoria, particularly on major projects
• Excellent attention to detail and drawing presentation
• Strong understanding of engineering documentation standards
• Ability to work collaboratively within a project team
• Strong communication and organisational skills

Desirable

• Experience with OpenRoads Designer
• Experience with renewable energy projects
• Structural drafting experience
• Interest in automation, digital engineering and AI tools
• Experience working in ISO-aligned quality environments
• Experience in training and managing other drafters
