RecruitR seeks a Civil Drafter to lead a local drafting team on Sunshine Coast projects, spanning urban development and roading. You’ll draft master-planned communities and mentor junior staff.

Privately owned and highly profitable, the firm emphasises onshore drafting, high-quality documentation, and collaboration with senior designers to grow into design.

This is a ground-floor role with a path to leadership as the office expands, offering stability and a chance to shape the team and projects.

Qualifications

• Civil drafting experience in an engineering consultancy.
• AutoCAD proficiency; 12D experience desirable.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities autonomously.
• Knowledge of local government regulatory frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Draft master-planned residential and roading projects.
• Run documentation solo at start, then mentor a local team.
• Collaborate with senior designers to expand into design.
• Coordinate with external consultants.
