Job summary

Northrop Coffs Harbour is seeking a civil drafter with 1–2 years' experience to join our local team in Coffs Harbour. You will work alongside an experienced group on projects across urban renewal and municipal infrastructure, including earthworks and road design.

Ideal candidates will have AutoCAD experience; Civ3D and 12D are desirable, with on-the-job training available. Strong communication and a proactive, collaborative mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years' experience as a civil drafter.
• Experience with AutoCAD is essential; civil engineering experience is desirable.
• Experience with Civ 3D and 12D is desirable; on-the-job training available.
• Strong communication skills for working with internal teams, clients and external consultants.
• Proactive problem-solving with a willingness to learn and develop technical skills.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration across projects and functional groups.

Responsibilities

• Assist drafting on civil projects including earthworks, stormwater, sewer, water, pavements and road design.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers and clients to deliver practical outcomes.
• Contribute to a range of urban renewal, development and municipal infrastructure projects.
