Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Civil Drafter to join the Community Development team in Springfield Central, Queensland. The role focuses on civil drafting for land, urban, and subdivision projects using AutoCAD, with responsibilities spanning conceptual and detailed design and coordination of drafting staff.

Ideal candidates will have civil drafting experience, proficiency in AutoCAD, good communication skills, and knowledge of local authority approvals.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated Civil drafting experience, ideally in civil infrastructure, land, urban or subdivisions.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Commitment to continuing professional development.
• 12D design experience highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Civil engineering design for land subdivision, road and drainage projects using AutoCAD.
• Preparation of conceptual and detailed design drawings per standards.
• Manage project deliverables including quality control and drafting staff coordination.
• Input to continuous improvement of design and drafting standards.
• Ensure client expectations are met and exceeded.
