Job summary

Connexus is seeking a civil engineer to own projects end to end, from design through DA, CC and CDC to OC. You will model and document in Civil3D for earthworks, roads, stormwater and public domain, with a graduate assigned to mentor.

The role spans site-based projects across urban development, commercial, industrial, residential, education and health sectors. Flexible working is available, with autonomy, supported by CPD and regular technical development.

Qualifications

• Civil engineering degree and 4+ years in a civil role.
• Solid Civil3D ability.
• Working knowledge of Australian Standards and DA/CC/OC processes.
• Experience across earthworks, roads, stormwater and public domain.
• Willingness to mentor a graduate.

Responsibilities

Our client, intermediate engineers own their projects end to end, from early design through DA, CC and CDC, all the way to OC. You'll know the full story on every job you touch, and you'll see the built outcome.

The firm works across the urban development sector, commercial, industrial, residential, education and health. Projects are site-based civil: earthworks, pavement grading, roads, public domain, stormwater drainage. You'll be running Civil3D models and producing plan documentation, with a grad assigned directly to you to mentor and support your output.

The team is structured but not rigid. You'll report to a Team Leader or Section Manager, get proper oversight without being micromanaged, and have genuine room to build your technical ability. The firm runs annual development workshops and expects you to pursue your CPD - that's not lip service, it's built into how the place operates.

You'll need a civil engineering degree, 4+ years in a similar role, solid Civil3D ability, and working knowledge of Australian Standards, Council guidelines and the DA/CC/OC approval process.
