Job summary

Whittens is seeking a Contracts Administrator to support our project teams from our Maroochydore head office. You will manage head contracts, cost reporting, variations and claims across remote civil infrastructure projects in Australia.

The role requires a degree in Quantity Surveying or related field, experience with civil contracting, and willingness to travel to sites across Australia. Perth-based roles and national travel form part of the scope.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying (preferred) or Commerce, Law, Construction Management or Civil Engineering—A must.
• Experience in a similar position with a self-perform Civil Contractor is highly regarded.
• Ability to understand, interpret and administer contracts and subcontracts.
• Solid cost control and reporting skills.
• Willingness to travel to sites across Australia ad hoc (monthly).

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of Contracts Administration including head contract management, bill of quantities, month ends, variations, reporting and claims management for remote civil infrastructure projects.
• Support project teams with commercial and contractual governance across Earthworks, Concrete, roads and FRP works.
