The City of Vincent is seeking a motivated Supervisor Construction to oversee field crews and contractors responsible for municipal infrastructure projects including roads, drainage and footpaths. The role focuses on safe, timely delivery within budget and to required standards.

The successful candidate will lead crews, mentor staff, manage schedules and coordinate resources, while maintaining high safety and quality expectations in a dynamic urban environment.

Qualifications

• Significant experience supervising operational teams and delivering civil construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of civil construction practices, project planning, budgeting, estimating, and interpreting technical plans and specifications.
• Proven leadership, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Commitment to workplace safety and recognised safe work practices.
• Certificate IV in Civil Construction (or equivalent experience), WA HR Class Driver's Licence, White Card and Current First Aid Certificate.
• Traffic Management accreditation, OH&S training and civil machinery tickets highly regarded.

Responsabilités

• Lead the City’s construction crews and contractors in delivering municipal infrastructure projects and maintenance works.
• Oversee construction and renewal of roads, drainage, footpaths, crossovers, signage and other civil assets, ensuring safety, efficiency, budget alignment and standards.
• Provide day‑to‑day leadership, mentoring and support to Crew Leaders and field personnel.
• Coordinate resources, manage schedules and monitor budgets.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety requirements.
