Job summary

City of Playford is seeking a City Operations Specialist to help shape and lead service planning and maintenance across parks, facilities, biodiversity, and assets. You’ll analyse data to identify trends, risks and opportunities to support decision-making and sustainable growth.

You will translate complex data into practical recommendations, work with senior stakeholders, and contribute to continuous improvements that align with community expectations and organisational goals.

Qualifications

• Experience in service planning, operational planning, maintenance planning, asset management or continuous improvement.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data and identify meaningful insights.
• Experience preparing reports, business cases and recommendations for senior stakeholders.
• Sound understanding of budgeting, forecasting and resource planning.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic advice on service planning and maintenance programs.
• Analyse operational, financial, asset and customer data to identify trends and opportunities.
• Develop maintenance strategies and growth planning aligned with council priorities.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across City Operations.
