Melton City Council is seeking a City Development Project Lead for a brand-new, full-time fixed-term 24-month position. The role leads continuous improvement initiatives, coordinates delivery, and enhances customer service while improving operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in business administration or project management, or equivalent experience.
• Strong prioritisation and time management skills to handle multiple projects.
• Experience implementing project management policies, procedures and change.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication for internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and monitor project schedules, milestones, budgets and deliverables.
• Develop and maintain project plans, tools, and communications.
• Coordinate internal resources, external consultants and service providers.
• Monitor progress, manage scope changes and risks, and develop contingencies.
• Review audit actions and ensure implementation with relevant teams.
• Maintain effective stakeholder relationships and responsive service.
• Update council website content to improve information accessibility.
