Job summary

The City of Sydney is seeking a qualified planner to join the Planning Assessments Team. You will advise applicants and landowners on development applications ranging from alterations to major proposals, ensuring proposals meet statutory requirements and city policies.

You’ll manage efficient assessment of applications and contribute to consistent decision-making in line with Sustainable Sydney 2030–2050. Applicants should have a degree in Urban Planning or related field and experience in

• Experience in assessment and resolution of planning issues.
