Event Cinemas Springfield is seeking a hands-on Gold Class Manager to lead a premium hospitality team and deliver exceptional cinema experiences. You’ll be involved in every shift, coaching staff, maintaining standards, and driving guest satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

You’ll oversee lounge and bar operations, ensure food safety and service excellence, and work across days, nights and weekends to meet peak trading demands.

The Commitment

This is a full‑time position, working across the cinema operating week on a set rotational roster, including days, nights and weekends.

Our busiest periods are also our most exciting and rewarding. Availability throughout our upcoming peak trading season, from late November through to late January, is essential and non‑negotiable.

• Take ownership of the day‑to‑day operation of the Gold Class lounge, bar and service areas.
• Maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness, presentation and service readiness.
• Manage opening and closing procedures, equipment checks, audits and compliance requirements.
• Uphold food safety, hygiene and responsible service of alcohol standards.
• Oversee stock management, ordering, deliveries and inventory controls.
• Support the successful execution of events, premieres, promotions and special experiences.
• Identify problems early, take initiative and drive practical solutions.

Ideally, you’ll also bring:

• Previous leadership experience in hospitality, food and beverage, restaurants, cafés, hotels or entertainment venues.
• Strong communication, organisation and problem‑solving skills.
• Experience leading teams in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused environment.
• An understanding of stock management, financial performance and operational compliance.
• A current RSA and RMLV certification and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain them.

You don't need to know everything on day one. But you do need to bring the drive, commitment and willingness to learn.
