Job summary

Etex Australia is seeking an experienced Continuous Improvement Engineer at our Altona manufacturing site to shape operational excellence across the Australian business. You will embed Lean principles, coach leaders, drive cultural change and deliver sustainable improvements in safety, quality and productivity.

Join a team focused on TPM, Kaizen and Continuous Performance Management, working with regional and global CI teams to share best practices and drive cost-saving initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• 5+ years' experience in Continuous Improvement within manufacturing or industrial operations.
• Lean, Six Sigma or equivalent Continuous Improvement qualifications.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Kaizen and Operational Excellence methodologies.
• Experience leading organisational change and coaching cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication, facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
• Collaborative leadership style and passion for developing others.

Responsibilities

• Lead the site's Continuous Improvement strategy and annual roadmap.
• Champion Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Kaizen and Continuous Performance Management.
• Coach leaders and frontline teams to build Continuous Improvement capability.
• Facilitate problem-solving workshops using Lean and Root Cause Analysis methodologies.
• Lead improvement projects that deliver measurable business outcomes.
• Drive productivity, waste reduction and cost-saving initiatives.
• Develop visual management systems and support effective daily performance routines.
• Coordinate the site's Operational Excellence and Factory of Tomorrow initiatives.
• Work closely with regional and global Continuous Improvement teams to share best practice.
