Job summary

Pillow Talk Australia is seeking a Christmas Retail Sales Assistant for our Kawana, Maroochydore, and Aura stores on a casual basis. You’ll help customers find festive home décor, assist with stock take, and keep our displays inviting during the peak Christmas period.

We're looking for warm, confident team players who can multitask during busy weekends and maintain high service standards. The role runs until 24 January 2027, with opportunities to grow within our nationwide network.

Qualifications

• Bright and confident customer-focused individual with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and cope with changing priorities in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Great availability across seven days, with emphasis on busy weekends.
• Active listening and problem-solving to help customers find the perfect home gift.
• Available for a fixed term through 24 January 2027.

Responsibilities

• Unpack new Christmas stock and decorations.
• Assist customers in creating decorative looks for the home.
• Support sales and ramp up customer service during peak periods.

• You’re full of personality and confidence, and can quickly develop interpersonal connections with customers and colleagues
• You have the ability to multitask and cope with changing priorities and all the curveballs that retail can throw at you
• You have great availability for work across the seven days of the week, and most importantly our busy weekends
• Great listening skills and problem-solving skills to help our customers find the perfect home gift idea for their loved ones... (comfort really is the gift that keeps on giving!)
• This role will be a maximum-term contract and therefore, you must be available from nowuntil 24th January 2027
