Job summary

David Jones in Sydney's Silverwater DC is seeking Christmas Casual Logistics Assistants to help meet online orders during the busy season. You will pick and pack orders across fashion, beauty and home, dispatch freight, and perform general warehouse duties in a fast-paced environment.

The role is limited tenure through January 2027. You should be available at least three days including weekends, have good teamwork and time-management skills, and be comfortable with lifting items and following

Qualifications

• At least 3 days availability, including weekends.
• Experience within a warehouse/distribution centre environment (preferred, not essential).
• High-level communication skills to work collaboratively with your team.
• Outstanding time management skills to keep on top of deadlines.
• The ability to maintain an appropriate level of physical fitness for a physical role.

Responsibilities

• You will pick & pack online customer orders across fashion, beauty & home products.
• You will collaborate with other team members to meet customer needs.
• You will maintain a high standard of merchandise principles.
• You will manage your time effectively to ensure that deadlines are met.
• You will lift potentially heavy items in a safe and efficient manner.
• You will adhere to Workplace Health & Safety policies to ensure the workplace is safe.
