Job summary

ZircoDATA Pty Ltd is seeking two Christmas casuals to join the Shred Centre Operations in Queensland. The roles involve forklift operation, picking/putting away boxes and files, and using inventory systems and PDAs in a fast-paced warehouse.

Successful applicants will have a forklift licence, be physically fit, and able to work unsupervised. Shifts run 4.00am–12.06pm and 12.00pm–8.06pm, Monday to Friday, with adherence to WH&S policies.

Qualifications

• Must carry a Forklift Licence.
• Physically fit with ability to lift 10kg+ cartons.
• Experience with data entry in a warehouse is desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Well organized with ability to prioritise workload.
• Ability to work unsupervised and autonomously.

The Opportunity

We are looking for 2 driven Team Members with Forklift Licences that will be part of a highly motivated and engaged team in all aspects of operations, though primarily in a warehouse setting on a Christmas Casual basis.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Christmas casual position
• Picking and putting away of boxes and files in warehouse
• Operating a
• Monday to Friday
• Operating 2 shifts:
• 4.00am - 12.06pm
• 12.00pm - 8.06pm
• Maintaining safe work practices and complying with all WH&S policies
• Use of PDA (personal digital assistant)
• Ability to efficiently operate computerised inventory systems
• Efficient and effective handling of confidential material
• Audit checks on process carried out by team members
• Performing various administrative tasks and projects in the warehouse
• Customer deliveries and collections (as required)
• Other ad hoc duties as required

To be successful in this role applicants must have the following:

• Physically fit (some cartons can be 10kg+)
• Carry a Forklift License
• Ability to pick up new systems quickly
• Prior data entry experience in a warehouse setting is desired
• Strong attention to detail
• Well organised with the ability to prioritise workload
• Work well under pressure and meet deadlines
• Basic computer and communication skills are required
• Familiar with various warehouse systems and Microsoft office programs
• Must have a current drivers license
• Positive attitude and ability to contribute towards a winning team mentality
