Job summary

Salomon on the Gold Coast is seeking a customer‑focused retail team member to boost sales and share expert product knowledge. You’ll engage with customers, suggest the right gear, and ensure the store presentation is inviting and aligned with brand standards.

You’ll handle transactions accurately, support stock and promotions, and contribute to a positive, energetic team culture during peak holiday periods.

Responsibilities

• Address complaints and objections swiftly and professionally, turning potential issues into positive experiences.
• Help protect company assets and procedures by promoting loss prevention practices.
• Ensure the sales floor and stockroom are clean, well-organised, and inviting for customers.
• Confidently handle cash and digital transactions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Contribute to maintaining high brand visual standards, always ensuring excellence in product presentation.
• Support with replenishment and pricing duties, including preparation for sales and promotions as needed

What You’ll Do

• You must have a background in sales, retail, or customer service, bringing valuable expertise to our dynamic team

• Connection to our brand, across key categories of from the trail, road, hike or sportstyle
• With a talent for identifying customer needs and matching them with the perfect products, you excel at driving sales and exceeding targets
• You have a knack for motivating and uplifting those around you, fostering a supportive and enthusiastic environment for both customers and team members
• You have good availability including over the holiday period; specifically between 26 October 2026 and 31 January 2027
