Job summary

St Philip’s Christian College invites expressions of interest for Service Educators to provide quality education and care for children within our Christian learning communities. You will collaborate with Room Leaders, Educators and the Nominated Supervisor to deliver a nurturing learning environment.

Role requires adherence to National Quality Standards and Early Years Learning Framework, and active participation in professional development.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of National Quality Standards and Early Years Learning Framework.
• Experience in curriculum development and documenting children’s learning and development.
• Ability to relate effectively with children and their families.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to ongoing professional learning.
• Willingness to be appointed as Responsible Person.
• ACECQA approved Child Protection certification or willingness to complete.
• ACECQA approved First Aid Certificate (HLTAID012).
• Completion of the mandatory Child Safe training.

Responsibilities

• Provide education and care for children enrolled at the Service in line with our philosophy and the National Quality Framework.
• Collaborate with other Educators, Room Leaders, Educational Leader and the Nominated Supervisor.
• Prioritize safety, rights and best interests of children in all decisions and actions.
