Job summary

Mangoola Coal is seeking motivated CHPP Maintenance Technicians to join our team in Mangoola, NSW. You will maintain the Coal Handling and Preparation Plant, performing planned and reactive maintenance to keep the plant safe, reliable and productive.

You must hold mechanical or electrical trades qualifications, have CHPP or fixed plant experience, and demonstrate a strong safety culture. Relocation assistance may be available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Qualified tradesperson (Mechanical or Electrical) with CHPP/fixed plant maintenance experience.
• Experience in maintaining coal handling equipment and plant systems.
• Strong commitment to safety and following site procedures.
• Ability to follow a plan and adapt in a dynamic environment.
• Willingness to develop leadership capabilities within maintenance supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned and reactive maintenance on CHPP plant and equipment.
• Inspect, service and repair equipment to high safety standards.
• Identify issues and drive reliable plant performance.
• Collaborate with maintenance teams to meet priorities.
• Participate in fault finding, troubleshooting and continuous improvement.
• Maintain focus on safe work practices and procedures.
