Job summary

Coronado Global Resources is seeking a hands-on CHPP Maintenance Manager in Blackwater, Queensland to lead the maintenance function and support production targets with safety at the core.

You will work closely with the Operations team to optimise plant reliability, drive continuous improvement initiatives and develop a high-performing maintenance team across the site.

Qualifications

• Experience leading fixed plant maintenance teams within coal processing or heavy industrial operations.
• Ability to lead multidiscipline trade teams and manage budgets.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the CHPP maintenance team, fostering a strong safety and performance culture.
• Ensure maintenance activities are planned and executed safely and efficiently.
• Drive plant reliability, equipment availability and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate closely with the Operations team to deliver weekly maintenance plans and shutdown schedules.
• Manage maintenance performance against agreed KPIs, budgets and schedules.
• Maintain compliance with site standards, statutory requirements and the SHMS.
• Provide accurate reporting on maintenance, safety and operational performance.
• Develop rolling maintenance plans that maximise plant performance and minimise downtime.
• Build strong working relationships across site to support safe and efficient production outcomes.
• Coach, mentor and develop supervisors and team members to build capability and succession within the business.
