Job summary

HVO, a large mining operation in NSW Hunter Valley, is seeking a confident CHPP Electrical Technician to join the team on site at Lemington Road. You will perform electrical maintenance within the CHPP, minimise downtime and support health, safety and the environment while aligning with company values.

The role reports to the CHPP Electrical Maintenance Supervisor and requires a NSW electrical licence with 3+ years fixed-plant experience in industrial settings.

Qualifications

• Electrical Trade Qualification (NSW Electrical Supervisor or contractors licence).
• 3+ years experience in fixed plant operations Industrial maintenance, fault finding and repair of equipment.
• High Voltage Switching Qualification (advantageous).
• Experience in coal handling and processing plants.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and efficient assistance to operational equipment.
• Perform electrical fault finding and diagnostics at the CHPP.
• Conduct High voltage switching.
• Inspect, maintain and repair electrical fixed plant in accordance with AS3000 and relevant legislation.
