Job summary

Montessori Academy Childcare Centres is seeking Certificate III and Diploma qualified Room Assistants and Room Leaders for our new Strathalbyn centre. Join a supportive team committed to Montessori-based education and family partnerships.

We offer comprehensive Montessori training, fully funded Diploma and ECT courses for eligible employees, and ongoing professional development through twice-monthly sessions.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA approved equivalent).
• Current Working with Children Check.
• First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
• Sound understanding of the National Quality Framework, National Quality Standards and EYLF.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A genuine passion for early childhood education.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a supportive team.
• A commitment to providing exceptional care and learning experiences for every child.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively as part of a passionate team to provide high-quality education and care.
• Build positive, nurturing relationships with children and families.
• Support the planning and implementation of engaging educational programs aligned with the EYLF.
• Maintain a safe, clean and welcoming learning environment.
• Ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework, service policies and child safety practices.
• Complete observations and contribute to children's learning documentation.
• Communicate effectively with families regarding children's learning and wellbeing.
• Support the implementation of Montessori principles throughout daily practice.
