Childcare Director | Penrith | $150,000 + super

Seeking an experienced Childcare Director to join an exceeding centre in the Penrith area!

The role requires a Centre Manager to lead their service with experience in successful A&R outcomes. This 58-place service (ages 0-6 years) operates above ratio with highly supportive and driven staff.

This is a not-for-profit centre, and they are looking for a Centre Leader who is willing to commit long-term.

To be considered for this position, applicants must have the following:
  • A completed ACECQA-approved Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Early Childhood Education
  • Minimum 3 years’ director experience within the Early Childhood sector (essential)
  • Experience with staff development & leadership in a similar role (essential)
  • Passionate belief in early years care, development, and education of children
  • Available 5 days a week for full-time work (essential)
  • Australian Working Rights
  • Working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Frameworks (EYLF)
  • Sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law (2010) and Regulations (2011)
  • Completion of an approved Child Protection course
  • A current First Aid Certificate, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills; public speaking confidence
  • High accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to independently plan and implement early childhood programs
  • Effective time management and organizational skills
  • High-level computer skills (MS Office, Xplor)
  • Effective assessment and evaluation techniques
  • Ability to establish positive relationships with educators and parents
  • Strong, confident, and motivated personality with a drive for excellence in education
  • Ability to observe, identify areas for improvement, and drive occupancy rates
