Journey Early Learning Group is opening a brand-new 98-place centre in Parap this November, and we’re looking for a passionate Childcare Chef to join our team.

This is your opportunity to start with a brand-new team, building connections with children, families and educators while helping create a welcoming centre community from the very beginning. The kitchen sits at the heart of the centre, making you a visible and valued daily contributor to meals and safety.

Qualifications

• Food Safety Supervisor Certificate required.
• Experience preparing nutritious meals for children.
• Current First Aid, Asthma & Anaphylaxis or willingness to obtain.
• Completed National Child Safety Training and WWC check.

Responsibilities

• Preparing fresh, nutritious meals and snacks for children.
• Catering for allergies and dietary requirements.
• Bringing our Future Foodies program to life.
• Managing food ordering and kitchen requirements.
• Maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene.
• Building positive connections with children, families and educators.
