Job summary

Journey Early Learning Group in Parap, NT is opening a brand-new 98-place centre this November, and we’re seeking a Childcare Chef to join from day one. You’ll prepare nutritious meals, cater for allergies, and be part of a newly formed kitchen team at the heart of the centre.

This part-time role (37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday) offers you the chance to engage with children, families and educators through our Future Foodies program, build healthy habits, and contribute to a welcoming

Qualifications

• Food Safety Supervisor Certificate required.
• Commercial Cookery qualifications preferred.
• Experience preparing nutritious meals for children.
• Strong knowledge of allergies and dietary requirements.
• Current First Aid, Asthma & Anaphylaxis or willingness to obtain.
• Completed National Child Safety Training and a paid Working With Children Check (OCHRE CARD).
