Take the lead at Mother Kate’s Early Learning Centre, a warm and family-owned 63-place centre in Wondai. We’re seeking a passionate and hands-on Director to shape our service, lead a dedicated team, and become a trusted face in our close-knit regional community.
Excellent salary: $90,000–$130,000 + up to $30,000 in annual performance bonuses

As Centre Director (Nominated Supervisor), you’ll lead the day-to-day operations and set the tone for a positive, inclusive learning environment. Key responsibilities:
Oversee staffing, compliance, budgeting, and daily centre operations
Mentor and inspire a team of educators
Drive enrolments and community engagement
Lead preparation for Assessment and Rating
Build strong relationships with families and the local community
Diploma or higher in Early Childhood Education
Previous experience as a Centre Director or in a similar leadership role
Blue Card (or Working with Children Check)
Knowledge of National Quality Framework and Regulations
Business acumen – rostering, budgeting, occupancy
First Aid, CPR, and Child Protection Training (or willingness to obtain)
Experience in a regional or community-based setting will be highly regarded. You’re hands-on, people-focused, and excited to make this centre your own.
