Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor with right to practice in Australia.
• Experience in child protection or similar litigation preferred.
• Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and travel.

Responsibilities

• Appear on behalf of the Secretary in child protection matters in court and related jurisdictions.
• Proactively manage allocated litigation files with client liaison and inter-party communication.
• Provide well-reasoned legal advice, briefings and correspondence.
