Uniting Limited is seeking a part-time, max-term contract worker to cover parental leave in the Child Youth & Family Services team in Tasmania. You will support parents with younger children, using parenting assessment, goal setting and case management to enhance family wellbeing.

The Northern Family Futures program delivers outreach to families with young children; the role emphasizes safeguarding and positive outcomes for children in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, Social Welfare or related discipline
• A current Drivers Licence
• Demonstrated experience working as a practitioner in the child and family welfare field
• Parents Under Pressure Accreditation is an advantage

Responsabilités

• Support parents with younger children to build parenting capacity and family functioning.
• Engage parenting assessment, goal setting and case management capabilities.
• Work within Uniting values to promote the best interests and safety of children.

Connaissances

A current Drivers Licence

Demonstrated experience in child &

Formation

Bachelor level degree or Diploma in Community Services or related discipline

Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, Social Welfare or related discipline
