KU Tree House is located in the Stockland building on Castlereagh Street in Sydney’s CBD. We are seeking a Cert III educated educator for a permanent part-time role.

The role is 30 hours per week, 7:30am–1:30pm, Monday to Friday, working at the Tree House to support a warm, engaging learning environment that values Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives and sustainable practice.

Qualifications

• Current NSW Working with Children Check
• ACCEQA recognised Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
• National Child Safety Training Certificate (Geccko)
• Training in CHCPRT025 and understanding of child protection legislation

Responsabilités

• Provide nurturing care and education to children in a kindergarten/early learning setting.
• Support daily routines and learning experiences in line with EYLF and National Regulations.
• Collaborate with co‑workers to plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities.

Conveniently located just a 5-minute walk from Gadigal Metro Station & Town Hall Train Station, our service is truly one‑of‑a‑kind, featuring a stunning rooftop atrium that fills the space with natural light and a beautiful ‘secret forest’ play area, where children immerse themselves in the wonders of nature.

About The Role

We are looking for a Certificate III qualified educator to join the team in a permanent part‑time capacity.

This role will see you working 30 hours per week; 7:30am - 1:30pm Monday to Friday.

About The Criteria

Along with relevant working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Frameworks (EYLF) and a sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law (2010) and the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011), it is essential that you have:

• A current and valid NSW Employee Working with Children Check
• An ACCEQA recognised Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
• A National Child Safety Training Certificate (through Geccko)
• Completed training in Child Protection (CHCPRT025) and an understanding of the legislation and its implications for the care and protection of children.
