Job summary

Campbelltown City Council is seeking multiple Child Care Cooks to plan nutritious menus for children aged 0-12 and maintain a safe, hygienic kitchen. You will monitor stock and work within budget while supporting early childhood education standards.

The roles are permanent part-time (20 hours per week) with professional development opportunities and a friendly, community-focused team. Closing date: 01/10/2026.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of nutritional requirements for children 0-12 years.
• Statement of Attainment or course in Nutrition and Menu Planning and Safe Food Handling.
• Knowledge of hygienic cooking practices.
• Knowledge of dietary, nutritional, cultural requirements of children including allergies and food intolerances.
• Ability to work as a cooperative team member.
• Time management skills and the ability to organise work effectively.
• Commitment to a customer focused service.
• A cleared Working with Children Check.
• Child Safe Certificate.
• Commitment to living our values of respect, integrity, teamwork, trust and optimism.
