Job summary

Allianz Sydney is seeking a Head of Risk for Consumer to lead risk, governance and regulatory compliance in a complex environment. You will drive material risk management, embed risk into strategic initiatives, and strengthen operational resilience while guiding AI, data and technology risk strategies.

This senior role offers a hybrid work arrangement, the chance to shape risk culture, develop a high-performing team and partner with executive stakeholders to protect customers and the business

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Risk Management and extensive industry experience.
• Significant senior leadership experience in risk, governance or transformation roles.
• Strong understanding of enterprise risk and compliance management frameworks.
• Experience partnering with executive stakeholders and influencing strategic decisions.
• Experience leading risk management through periods of significant business or technology change.
• Sound understanding of customer, conduct, operational and regulatory risk.
• Capability to assess emerging risks from AI, digital transformation and evolving technologies.
• Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams and navigate complex challenges.

Responsibilities

• Drive effective management of material risks across the Consumer division.
