Job summary

Hunter New England Local Health District is seeking a Chief Radiographer - Rural and Regional Health Services based at Tamworth Hospital. You will drive strategic direction, strengthen imaging services and empower teams across rural NSW, contributing to district-wide decisions and service improvements.

You will join a collaborative leadership team, focusing on workforce development, innovation, and delivering high-quality patient care to communities across multiple sites within the district.

Qualifications

Extensive clinical practice in an imaging department.
Current unrestricted NSW driver's license or equivalent.
Willingness to travel long distances for work.

Responsibilities

Lead strategic direction for rural and regional imaging services across NSW.
Strengthen imaging services and empower multidisciplinary teams.
Influence district-wide decision making and service improvements.
Drive workforce planning and development across multiple sites.
Deliver high-quality patient care and equitable imaging access.
