Chief Legal Counsel - Affirmative Measures Disability


The NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission is seeking a dynamic and strategic Chief Legal Counsel to head its’ Legal and Integrity Division and contribute to the delivery of the NDIS Commission’s objectives.

Reporting to the Associate Commissioner the Chief Legal Counsel will be a key member of the Executive Leadership team, provide expert legal advice on complex and high-impact matters, supporting both regulatory and corporate functions. Your leadership will shape the NDIS Commission’s strategic litigation agenda and ensure robust legal frameworks and policies are in place.

This role requires deep expertise in legislation and human rights law, particularly as it relates to people with disability. You will oversee legal services relating to integrity, privacy, and freedom of information, and play a pivotal role in advising on policy proposals and legislative processes that deliver NDIS reforms.
