30th May, 2025 Your Role: As CEO, you will: Strengthen Partnerships : Build and maintain strong collaborative and productive relationships with industry, all levels of government, schools, and community stakeholders to support youth transition, and systemic advocacy. Lead Strategy : Implement NELLEN’s Strategic Plan, in collaboration with the Board. Review the annual outcomes, and ensure alignment with stakeholder needs and government priorities. Drive Organisational Performance : Oversee business operations, financial management, and human resources to ensure a sustainable and high-performing organisation. Foster Innovation & Capacity Building : Promote a culture of continuous improvement and individual capacity building. Represent & Advocate : NELLEN's public face should advocate for the needs of young people in transition and represent the organisation at local, state, and national levels. Support Strong Governance: Align NELLEN’s strategic direction with policies and regulations, promote transparency and accountability, foster ethical behaviours, and collaborate with the Board. About You: Proven experience in executive leadership relevant to not-for-profit, community development and/ or education sectors. Strong strategic thinking, governance knowledge, and financial acumen. Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage complex projects, and deliver measurable outcomes Exceptional communication, stakeholder engagement, and partnership-building skills. A passion for creating clear steps for effective systemic change and delivering outcomes that enables all young people access to greater career, vocational and employment choices. Why Join NELLEN?
