The Commercial Engagement Section (CEN) undertakes all ICT-related procurement activities for the ICT Division of the Department, ensuring open, transparent and accountable purchases and value for money outcomes.
The Labour Hire team is a small team performing critical functions within the Information Management and Technology Division (IMD), responsible for the end-to-end procurement of ICT labour hire contractors and their contract administration, currently managing over 300 individual contractors and contracts.
The Procurement Officer is responsible for assisting with the management and delivery of procurements related to the ICT Labour Hire workforce, including the delivery of new procurements and the management of existing contracts. You'll work closely with internal and external stakeholders, providing support and advice on procurement processes.
We're looking for a high performing candidate with either experience in ICT procurement or the desire to broaden and develop their skills in procurement. You'll be comfortable managing multiple priorities simultaneously in an environment of changing priorities and tight timeframes, with the ability to apply legislative, financial and administrative frameworks in a practical manner.
