Aussie Hotel in Shepparton is seeking experienced Chefs for casual summer work with a view to staying long term. Join our kitchen team in a busy pub environment serving pub classics and fresh dishes.

You’ll work across lunch and dinner services, delivering quality food as part of a supportive team. There is potential to transition to full-time, with sponsorship possible after 6 months depending on performance and business needs.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge of food safety and kitchen standards.
• Ability to work across a flexible roster, including weekends.
• Reliable, positive and able to work well within a team.
• Experience as a chef in a fast-paced pub environment is preferred.

The Aussie Hotel is a much-loved local pub serving hearty pub classics, fresh homemade dishes, functions and events. With a busy summer period ahead, we’re looking for experienced Chefs to join the team on a casual basis.

About the role

You’ll work across busy lunch and dinner services, helping deliver consistent, quality food across our bistro and functions. This is a hands-on role suited to chefs who enjoy a fast-paced pub environment and working as part of a team.
