Job summary

The Star Gold Coast is seeking passionate chefs to join our Culinary team at Uncle Su, specialising in Asian cuisine. You will work alongside experienced chefs in a fast-paced kitchen, honing skills across Cantonese, Beijing and Szechuan dishes, and contributing to exceptional dining experiences for guests.

Qualifications

• Certificate 3 in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent).
• Previous experience working with woks in a busy high-end kitchen.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Sound knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.

Responsibilities

• Prepare dishes in Uncle Su kitchen focusing on Cantonese, Beijing and Szechuan cuisines.
• Assist senior chefs and maintain high standards of cleanliness and food safety in a fast-paced environment.
